Family First Ministries is having their 5th Annual Toy Giveaway in the downtown Valley Transit Center in Appleton, Wisconsin for those families in need on Christmas Eve starting at 9 a.m.
We need your help! There are many families in our community that need our help at Christmas. Our Christmas Eve Toy Program is able to help families who were not adopted by one of the other programs, a family that did not qualify for assistance, a family who had an unexpected bill or repair that they had to choose between paying rent or buying presents for Christmas. These are the families we want to help!
How can you help? Easy! You can drop off donations at our offices located at 300 N. Appleton Street or you can display a toy collection bin with a poster and you provide the location. Then you start collecting toys for all ages 6 months to 17 years old. In previous years, large stuffed animals, board games, barbie dolls, matchbox car were popular with younger children. For teenage girls makeup kits, flat irons or hair dryers, and perfume/lotion sets, jewelry sets were popular. The boys like basketballs or any sport balls, sports socks, cologne and body wash sets, watches.
To help families this holiday, collect toys and fill a toy bin, and for more details, call Cheri at (920) 574-4230. Thank you for your help in our community.
