Bro Dotson with the Jr Deacons teaching them solid work ethics. Yes this is part of ministry, taking young men teaching them solid outside work skills. Most would be home playing video games or out getting into trouble. The Care for the Community as we Care for Your Lawn keeps young Men engaged and prepares them for a life time of successful living.

On Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9:00am – 4:30pm Family First Ministries in partnership with the Valley Transit Station will give away Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s clothing ranging from casual to business professional to those in need at the downtown Appleton Valley Transit Station located on 100 East Washington Street, Appleton, WI 54911.

As a part of their Free Clothing Giveaway Family First Ministries’ members and community volunteers will work with people on an individual basis to find clothing according to their need with the mission of uplifting the community beyond the four walls of their sanctuary. “We believe it is most critical to meet the community’s spiritual need through prayer and God’s Word, but we also believe God has called us to get outside of the four walls and share the love of Jesus Christ through giving,” said Pastor Alvin Dupree, the founder and leader of Family First Ministries. The ministry also holds a hot breakfast every Wednesday and Friday, gives clothes during the breakfasts on Wednesday and Friday, holds an annual toy giveaway on Christmas Eve and provides free family counseling Tuesday through Friday through their Living Forgiven Counseling Center.

Previous clothing giveaways have helped 100 individuals or families and continues to grow each year. All clothing, coats, shoes or financial donations can be dropped off at the church Tuesday thru Friday from 9:00am until 4:30pm and anyone interested in volunteering to help prepare for the giveaway or on the day of the giveaway, please contact the church office at (920) 903-1159.
